The offer
Invitations are for new customers who have never had a paid The Memo subscription. A referred customer receives €10 off each recurring subscription payment forever, including after cancellation and a later resubscription.
The referrer receives €10 off per qualifying referral after that customer’s first non-zero invoice is paid.
The first valid invitation opened within 30 days before signup receives credit; later links do not replace it. Cancellation and resubscription reactivate that same referral relationship rather than creating a new one. Referral discounts cannot be combined with another promotion at signup.
When a reward is active
The referrer’s reward remains while the referred customer has an eligible paid subscription. A scheduled cancellation counts until the subscription actually ends. After a failed payment, the reward has a seven-day grace period and returns if payment recovers.
Price limits
The monthly minimum is €12 for Intelligence Briefing and €20 for the full plan. Earned referral rewards can stack with the referred-customer discount and other existing discounts, subject to that minimum. Rewards above the limit are queued and apply automatically when room becomes available. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Fair use
Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fraud, refunded qualifying payments, and payment disputes may invalidate the referral and revoke associated benefits. We may review or withhold rewards while misuse is investigated.
Privacy and changes
The Referral Center shows anonymous dates and statuses, never another customer’s identity or payment details.
We may change or end the program for future invitations. A referred customer’s valid lifetime €10 benefit is grandfathered, except where revocation is required for misuse or by law.
